• Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure that all food products are of the highest quality and freshness by adhering to proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following sanitation and safety procedures at all times.
• Monitor food inventory levels and communicate with the sous chef or kitchen manager to place orders as needed.
• Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a sense of urgency while prioritizing tasks and managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Support the overall goals and objectives of the kitchen and restaurant, contributing to a positive work environment and guest satisfaction.
• Put away and safely store food items and cooking equipment.
• Clean and sanitize cooking areas at the end of the shift. Complete closing of kitchen, including taking out trash and linen, sweeping and moping.
